Last updated: July 2026. This policy is written to reflect how this website actually works today. It is not a substitute for advice from a qualified legal professional, and we recommend having it reviewed before relying on it for compliance purposes.
1. Who This Policy Covers
This Privacy Policy applies to thedraftspaceatelier.com, operated by The Draft Space Atelier, a residential interior design studio based in Mumbai, Maharashtra, India. It explains what personal information we collect through this website, how we use it, and the choices available to you under applicable Indian law, including the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 ("DPDP Act").
2. Information We Collect
We collect information you choose to submit through two forms on this site:
- Free Quote / Contact form: full name, phone number, email address, city, preferred contact method, how you heard about us, type of home, approximate budget, expected timeline, and any project details you write in.
- Review form: your name, city, project type, star rating, and the review text you submit. Reviews are held privately and only published on the site after we've reviewed them.
We do not use analytics, advertising, or tracking scripts on this website, and we do not collect information about you passively just for visiting the site.
3. How We Use Your Information
We use the information you submit solely to respond to your enquiry, discuss your residential interior design project, provide a quote or consultation, and — for reviews — to display your feedback publicly once approved. We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with third parties for their own marketing purposes.
4. Where Your Information Is Stored
Form submissions are stored using Supabase, a third-party database and hosting provider, which may store data on servers located outside India. When you submit the Free Quote form, a copy of your enquiry is also automatically emailed to our studio inbox via EmailJS, a third-party email-delivery service, so our team can respond promptly. Both providers act only as data processors on our behalf, and we take reasonable technical and organizational measures to keep your information secure, including restricting who can access it.
5. How Long We Keep Your Information
We retain enquiry and review information for as long as reasonably necessary to respond to you, deliver our services, and maintain business records, unless you ask us to delete it sooner as described below.
6. Cookies & Local Storage
This website does not use cookies or tracking technologies for advertising or analytics purposes. A small amount of browser local storage is used internally on our password-protected leads dashboard (an admin-only page, not accessible to site visitors) purely to keep that session unlocked; it has no effect on your experience as a visitor.
7. Third-Party Links
Our website contains links to third-party sites and services such as Instagram, LinkedIn, Facebook, Google Maps and WhatsApp. We are not responsible for the privacy practices or content of these external sites — please review their own privacy policies before sharing information with them.
8. Your Rights
Subject to applicable law, you have the right to access, correct, or request deletion of the personal information you've shared with us, and to withdraw consent for us to hold it. To exercise any of these rights, contact us using the details below and we will respond within a reasonable time.
9. Grievance & Contact
If you have questions, concerns, or complaints about how your information is handled, please contact us using the details on our Contact page, or write to us at the email address listed there. We will do our best to address your concern promptly.
